Once we had crossed the border into Botswana, we stay on the banks of the Chobe River for the night. There is a great deal of wildlife and birdlife in Chobe, which makes the park famous for its beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets. In the morning, we go on a game drive in Chobe and in the evening, we enjoy a sunset game viewing cruise on the Chobe River

From the Chobe National Park, we will enter Namibia and travel to Caprivi in the east. Our journey begins once we cross the border into Botswana, where we travel by road to our lodge situated on the edge of the Okavango Delta. A boat ride of 30 minutes takes us into the delta the following day. The Nxamasire area of the delta is where we conduct mokoro and boat excursions. The water levels of the delta may also allow for game walks on the smaller islands in the area.

Our journey south takes us through the vast and rugged terrain of the Damaraland region. A wide gravel plain separates its mountain ranges from sandy, vegetated riverbeds and hot, arid valleys. The Spitzkoppe Mountains provided a beautiful backdrop for setting up camp among its boulders. Afternoons are free for exploring the beautiful surroundings on foot. We are confident that the spectacular setting of our remote bushcamp will leave a lasting impression on you

We leave after breakfast and arrive in Swakopmund in the afternoon, where we will spend the afternoon exploring the German colonial town.

Through an ever-changing landscape, we travel south to our camp within the Namib Desert. After breakfast, we will depart early for Sossusvlei, where we will observe the changing hues of the world’s highest sand dunes in the dune belt. In order to reach Sossusvlei and Deadvlei, we must walk approximately five kilometers. A short hike through Sesriem Canyon is enjoyed in the afternoon.

This vast expanse, renowned for its sparse vegetation, offers unparalleled predator sightings, including the iconic black-maned lion. On arrival, immerse yourself in the Kalahari’s unique ecosystem with a guided 2-hour sunset walk. Explore the geology, flora, and fauna of the dunes, perhaps encountering our resident meerkat family, and learn to interpret the nocturnal tracks left behind. This enlightening experience reveals the hidden life thriving in this seemingly barren landscape. Guided Meerkat Walk in Kgalagadi, Full Day Game Drive in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
As we make our way to Augrabies Falls National Park, we pass through a lush oasis with an abundance of wine farms. Here, the mighty Orange River plunges 56 meters into the gorge below. These majestic falls are also known as ‘Aukoerebis’ or ‘the place of great noise’ by the locals. From the various viewpoints available at the falls, we spent the afternoon enjoying the scenic beauty of the falls.

Following our departure from Augrabies, we arrive at our campsite in the picturesque Namaqualand region. The numerous wild flowers in the region transform the landscape into an explosion of color from August to October.

Namaqualand Scenic Drive
Having traveled through Namaqualand, we arrive in Cape Town towards the end of the afternoon. This picturesque, historic, and cultural city is surrounded by the majestic Table Mountain. The picturesque city of Cape Town is situated against the majestic Table Mountain and offers a variety of historical, cultural and scenic attractions. Our tour of the peninsula begins at 8 a.m. on day 19. In addition to driving along the Atlantic coastline via Hout Bay and Chapmans Peak, you will visit Table Mountain National Park – Cape Point, and then drive along the Indian Ocean coastline back to our convenient hotel located on the waterfront. A morning or afternoon cable car ascent up Table Mountain is optional for clients’ own expense. At their own expense, clients may enjoy dinner at the bustling Waterfront.
